Bio

I have been fortunate to live in the Conejo Valley since 1988 after returning from Europe where my father, David Buss, was stationed as a captain in the US Army. I attended Conejo Valley Unified School District schools from first grade through graduation from Thousand Oaks High School.

As a local real estate agent, I have long promoted CRPD's 50 parks, 150 miles of open space trails and 8 community facilities, and the thousands of programs offered. I grew up playing soccer at Old Meadows Park and Conejo Creek South, going to dances at the Teen Center, Summer Concerts in the park, hiking in Wildwood and celebrating milestones with family and friends at our beautiful parks, such as my first daughter's baby shower at Conejo Creek North. I walked my babies in the evening to Conejo Community Park to watch the sunset and push them in the swings. I love the enchantment that our parks, trails, and community centers bring to the Conejo Valley. This is why my husband Danny and I have stayed in the area where we grew up, to give our children the same abundant opportunities we had. I believe in giving back by helping to preserve the traditions of our big little Conejo Valley.

My husband is a local fire captain, and we are raising our two daughters here in the Conejo Valley. I have been married to Oxnard Fire Captain, and Air Force veteran, Daniel Lampert since 2007. We live in Lynn Ranch with our two daughters and two dogs. In our free time we enjoy outdoor activities, giving back to the community, entertaining and watching our daughters ride horses.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Management degree from Graziadio School of Business, Pepperdine University. Currently, I am a Shareholder and Residential Real Estate Agent at Aviara Real Estate Brokerage in Westlake Village. My husband and I, also have a Real Estate Syndication Company, where we invest in multifamily properties. Our favorite projects are taking run down properties and making them properties the tenants enjoy living in and are proud to come home to.

I have appreciated the opportunities to serve Conejo Valley through multiple community service paths from the PTA, Madrona School Site Council, Chair of the Thousand Oaks Rotary Chili Cook Off to Executive Board Member of Senior Concerns. And now I continue my service through the Conejo Recreation and Park District to our community.
