Lifeguard Training - C806

Prepare for the role of a lifeguard in a pool setting. Learn water rescue skills, CPR, First Aid, AED use, and emergency prevention. Must attend all sessions. Includes certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and AED.

Prerequisites: Must be 15+, able to swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes (legs only), and retrieve a 10-lb brick from 7 feet deep. Must demonstrate Front Crawl with rhythmic breathing and Breaststroke.

Water Safety Instructor - C809

This 30-hour course prepares participants to teach swim lessons to all ages while developing leadership and communication skills. Instruction covers stroke development, safety awareness, and teaching techniques. Completion of all sessions is required for certification.

Prerequisites: Participants must be at least 16 years old, complete the Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT), and demonstrate Level 4 swim skills. This includes swimming 25 yards each of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke; 15 yards of butterfly; floating or sculling on the back for one minute; and treading water for one minute.

Lifeguard Recertification Training - C807

Refresh your skills and renew your certification without retaking the full course. Includes CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and AED.

Prerequisites: Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
Must swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes (legs only), and attend the full class.

First Aid / CPR / AED Training - C808

Train for the role of a lifeguard in a pool setting. Learn water safety, rescue techniques, CPR, First Aid, AED use, and emergency response. Certification includes Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and AED. Attendance at all sessions is required.
